About Cancer Survivors Unite

Cancer Survivors Unite is a Non-Profit organization that is dedicated to providing support and resources to cancer patients and survivors.
The Mission of Cancer Survivors Unite is to provide supportive programs and informational resources to young adults, between 18 and 40 years old, affected by a cancer diagnosis.

Cancer Survivors Unite was founded in 2004 after the President and Founder, Tanya Zekovitch, was told she was she had Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This was the Second time in her life that she had been diagnosed with the disease. At the age of 7 Tanya was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. Then at the Age of 23 she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. While in a battle with the Leukemia she learned that there was not much information available for young Cancer patients and survivors.

In 2004 Cancer Survivors Unite launched a website to become a resource for young cancer Survivors and Patients. In August of 2005 the Quarterly Newsletter was mailed out. Currently we are sending out over 200 newsletters to people all over the country and Canada.

August 29th 2005 Articles of Incorporation where filed with the State of Pennsylvania. The IRS granted Tax Exempt status April 2nd 2007.
